Local Directory Program – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern participation in the Breakaway Growth Operators (“BGO”) Local Business Directory Program. By enrolling in the program, participating businesses (“Advertiser”) agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Program Overview

Breakaway Growth Operators (“BGO”) offers a Local Business Directory Program that features businesses in printed and digital neighborhood directories organized by geographic location.

Directories are distributed to local residents and made available digitally through BGO’s online platforms.

Participation provides businesses with advertising placement within the directory for the selected community or communities.

2. Pricing

Participation in a single directory location is offered at the following pricing tiers based on listing size and placement:

$79 – Standard Listing

$95 – Highlighted Listing

$149 – Single Box Feature

$179 – Double Box Feature

Pricing applies per directory location.

Businesses may subscribe to one or multiple directory locations.

3. Billing & Payment Terms

All directory participation fees must be paid in full prior to any printing, production, or placement within the directory.

Enrollment in the program does not guarantee a specific print or distribution date.

Directory production timelines depend on multiple factors including:

Renewal participation from existing advertisers

Completion and availability of participating business listings

Achievement of minimum directory capacity for the selected community

For new directory locations, BGO anticipates directory distribution within approximately six (6) to eight (8) weeks following business enrollment and completion of the business interview process.

All production timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Failure to complete payment will result in removal from the directory production schedule.

4. Business Interviews

Business owner interviews conducted by BGO may be included for businesses participating in the initial launch of a new directory location if they participate in all directories launched. BGO may offer interviews to businesses outside this criteria based on production schedule. 

These interviews may be used for promotional purposes including:

Social media

Community pages

Digital directory listings

Video features

Other marketing channels operated by BGO

Businesses joining the directory during the renewal phase may be offered interviews subject to scheduling availability and BGO discretion.

5. Multi-Location Subscription Discount*

Businesses subscribing to four (4) or more directory locations simultaneously may receive discounts. Some areas may have less than 4 directories. 

To qualify for the discount:

A minimum of four active directory subscriptions must be maintained.

If the number of active directory subscriptions drops below four, the discount may be removed at the next billing cycle.

The initial discount may or may not be offered on subsequent directories.

*Only offered as special discounts, doesn’t always apply.

6. Referral Credit

Businesses will receive a $20 referral credit for each referred business that successfully subscribes to the same directory location.

Referral credits:

Are applied toward the referring business’s next renewal invoice

Have no cash value

Cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash

BGO reserves the right to verify and approve all referrals.

7. Renewal Terms

Directory subscriptions renew automatically every six (6) months unless canceled in writing prior to the renewal date.

Participating businesses will be billed twice annually for continued participation in their selected directory locations.

Failure to submit payment by the renewal date may result in removal from future directory editions.

8. Content & Listing Approval

Businesses are responsible for providing accurate business information, logos, and contact details for their directory listing.

BGO reserves the right to:

Edit listings for formatting or clarity

Refuse or remove listings that contain inappropriate, misleading, or unlawful content

Adjust directory placement or layout as necessary for production

Final directory design and placement decisions remain at the sole discretion of BGO.

9. Distribution

Directories may be distributed through a variety of methods including but not limited to:

Direct mail

Hand delivery

Community partnerships

Digital distribution

Online directory platforms

Distribution quantities and methods may vary by community.

10. Limitation of Liability

Breakaway Growth Operators does not guarantee:

Lead generation

Sales results

Business growth

Return on investment

Participation in the directory is a marketing opportunity and results may vary depending on numerous external factors.

BGO’s liability is limited solely to the amount paid for directory participation.

11. Program Modifications

BGO reserves the right to modify pricing, features, program structure, or distribution methods as needed.

Participants will be notified of any material changes prior to the next renewal cycle.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in the Local Business Directory Program, the participating business acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
